Se7enth Sense Technologies Release Industry First
Business Management Tool
Se7enth Sense Technologies today announced the release and immediate availability of their latest software offering, called WorkPool, to the South African market at the official WorkPool launch in Cape Town. WorkPool addresses the needs of the large, yet still very much untapped niche market of business management solutions for small and medium sized enterprises. The software package integrates the daily operations of employees and activities within a business, such as workflow, communication, client relationship management and project management into a single system. WorkPool, developed in the popular Java programming language, runs successfully on most popular operating systems. Se7enth Sense Technologies' managing director, Marius Botha, explained the rationale behind the positioning of WorkPool in the market: "Recent changes in the IT industry have made corporate institutions and business owners more cautious in spending exorbitant amounts of money on custom-built solutions that have no measurable benefit to the company. Our market research indicated a huge demand for a generic, business management and client service solution from business owners who wanted to benefit from the advantages technology has to offer their business, but did not want to take the risk of developing their own solution, or could not afford it. WorkPool provides a single, cost effective solution to meet the requirements of these customers." WorkPool can enable any small business or practice for a mere R5,000
per year, or a medium to large enterprise for R10,000 per year with the
additional capability of interfacing with other business partners or
clients. Existing WorkPool clients and test sites include the financial
services industry, legal practices, short-term insurance, call centres or
help desks, franchise management as well as design and print houses. |
